Mushroom & Garlic Soup and A New Request

I cannot get my self to use twitter. I manage this blog and a facebook account to connect with people virtually. I seriously have nothing else to share in twitter.  I have a "follow me in twitter" html widget on my blog and I never seriously twittered. Today as I was pondering facebook in utter boredom, I realized I could link facebook page updates to twitter. I thought, "Ah! Finally I get to tweet without going into twitter". So I quickly created a relishing recipe's facebook page and posted a link. And voila!, it appeared as a tweet in twitter.

I would be really really grateful if you could add yourself as a fan to this page and grace it once in a while by taking part in discussions. From my part, I promise loads of gourmet travels, recipes and pics this 2010!! I also promise not to overload your home page with updates each morning, so do not be apprehensive. You can find the fan box on the sidebar above my followers list or you may navigate to the page from the below badge. The invite is open to all the you  accomplished and unique epicures (you all are!). Lets grab a cuppa coffee and cookies and talk food. Lets share queries and secrets stored safe in our panty's canisters and in our minds in the most apropos and felicitous way we can!

Coming to today's delicious recipe, it is perfect for winter and just in time for Usha's healthy inspirations- soup event.

Ingredients:-
4 button mushrooms cleaned and sliced
1 small sized onion sliced
2 large pods of garlic chopped finely
1 1/2 cup of vegetable stock/water
1 tsp of soya sauce
1 tbl spn of parsely finely chopped
1/2 tsp of freshly ground pepper
2 tsp of cornflour dissolved in cold water
1 t spn of rosemary, thyme and sage (dried)
salt to taste
1 tbl spn of olive oil/butter

Method:-
In a pan heat the olive oil/butter.
Add the garlic, onions and mushrooms. Fry well till they are cooked well.
Add the rosemary thyme, sage, pepper and salt. Mix well and cook for 1 min.
Add the vegetable stock/water and soya sauce. Wait for the first boil.
Add the cornflour mixture to the pan to make it thick as needed. Add it little by little and stir to avoid the soup from becoming too thick.
Garnish with some freshly chopped parsely.

The below Yummy dumpling soup also goes to Usha's Healthy Inspiration- Soup event:-

So i don't think i can give any advice on social networking. I think i should spend some time in twitter and facebook each day but it never happens on a daily basis for me.
