Microwave Masala Peanuts

Sometimes, we run out of snacks when guests arrive unexpected.... Avi always wants to munch something while watching a movie.... When a kid goes, "do u have thing to eat?-something munchy?" ; This is the snack for all such occasions. Fast, quick and crunchy. I enjoyed this snack today with my cup of evening tea, while reading a nice book. Thanks to Usha for this lovely recipe. I did make my own variations though, but at the end, it was heavenly. Its low calories compared to the deep fried/fried peanut masala, so its guilt free! This contribution is to Divya of Dil Se and Sharmi of Neivedyam for CFK-evening snacks event.

Serves: one hungry kid

Ingredients:-
1/4 cup of peanuts
3 tbl spns of rice flour
1 tsp of red chilli powder
1 tsp of jeera/cumin powder
2 tbl spns of olive oil
salt to taste

Method:-
Add all of them in a microwave bowl amd mix them well so that the flour and masalas stick to the peanuts.
Microwave for 1 minute. Take it out and mix.
Microwave for another minute. When you take out this time, the peanuts should be dark in color (maroon). If not microwave till you get this color.Should get done with in 3 minutes for one serving. Mine got done in 2 minutes.
Let it cool and then pop into your mouth as they will be extremely hot.
Enjoy and relax.

I am so glad that you tried these and liked them, I loved the variations you made to it. Using only rice flour must have made it extra crunchy...looks yum !
