Methi Chapati/Roti











 




Ingredients:-

2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup fenugreek leaves finely chopped
1 stick of butter
1 tsp. of red chilli powder
½ tsp. of tumeric powder
1 t spn of ginger-garlic paste
Salt to taste

Method:-

  1. Mix together flour, washed and cut methi leaves, red chilli powder, turmeric and salt.
  2. Add ginger- garlic paste.
  3. Knead the the dough well while adding water. 
  4. Make golf sized balls of dough. Roll the ball in dry flour and make a round roti.
  5. Shallow fry on a griddle (tava) to golden brown with butter/ghee or oil
  6. Serve hot with pickle and Raita.
