Ingredients:-
20-25 okra
1 medium sized onion chopped finely
1 tsp of mustard seeds
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
salt to taste
1 tbl spn of chilli powder/sambar powder
6 tbl spns of oil to fry
salt to taste
2 tbl spns of rice flour/corn starch
scrapped coconut to garnish.
Method:-
Add the cornflour/rice flour to the cut okra. With wet hands, mix both and keep aside.This shouldn't be wet/a paste. The powder should lightly cover the okra.
heat the oil in pan
Add the custard seeds and let it crackle
Add the onions and fry till transparent
Add the bhindi,turmeric powder,salt and chilli powder
Fry well till crisp and they shrink in size in medium flame. Toss to avoid burning.
Ganish with coconut
