Aloo Methi/ Urulai-kizhangu Vendhiya keerai Varuval




This is the most yummy and simple recipe. Relish the Urulai-kizhangu Vendhiya keerai varuval/aloo methi.


Ingredients:-

1 cup of methi leaves-washed,cleaned and chopped.
3 large potatoes cubed
1 medium sized onions chopped.
1 tsp of jeera
1 tbl spn of ginger-garlic paste
2-3 tsp of red chilli powder (depending on how hot you like it)
salt to taste

Method:-

Heat oil in a pan.
Add the jeera and onions and fry till they turn transparent
Add the ginger-garlic paste and fry for a min.
Add the potatoes and fry till they turn crisp.
Add the turmeric , salt and red chilli powder.
Add the methi and fry till the water evaporates.
Serve the subzi hot!
