2 cups freshly cut beans
1 cup pototoes cooked and diced (cut in medium size)
1/2 medium sized onions chopped
1 tbl spn of sambar masala
1/4 t spn of turmeric
1/2 t spn of jeera
3 tbl spns of oil
salt to taste
Heat 1 tbl spn of oil in pan.
Add jeera, onions and fry till onions are transparent.
Add the beans and add 1/2 cup of water and cook the beans by closing the lid of the pan.
Once the beans are soft and water has evaporated, add the potatoes.
Add the turmeric powder, salt, sambar powder and mix well
Add the remaining 2 tbl spns of oil and fry till the potatoes get crisp in medium flame.
Toss occasionally so that the beans doesn't start to burn.
Serve with hot with rotis.
